Horses in Training

Blurr the Judge  2017 barrel futurity mare  (barn name: Sadie)

2012 mare  by Judge Cash X First Look Here (JD Look)

This filly got a bit of a late start and began her futurity campaign late. She has progressed at a fantastic rate and keeps getting better! She placed in the 2D futurity average in Fort Mohave on her first out!  She has been gaining skill and confidence and has moved into the 1D futurity pool with the top colts currently competing this year!  She is one of those rare horses that will run right or left with equal precision! This is INVALUABLE as an open rodeo horse, which is where she will excel. She can stand up on bad ground! Like all Judge Cash horses she hunts barrels and is lightning fast.

Horses I train are positioned for lifetime competition. They are not rammed, jammed, and blown up during their futurity year. They are broke and seasoned and safe.  My horses are quick and responsive and do well with experienced barrel racers who know what they're doing, those looking for their next up and coming winner.  That said, this is a client's horse will sale at the end of her futurity season. If you would like to be listed as an interested party please contact the ranch.

First Down Casanova AQHA

First Down Casanova  (Cassie)

Cassie started her winning ways as a yearling, placing 3rd in the Bosen Land and Livestock annual Yearling Halter Futurity.  She continues to be a standout winner captuing the DIXIE CLASSIC FUTURITY CHAMPION title and the NBHA 2011 futurity year title.

Cassie made a great showing at the GREG OLSEN MEMORIAL!  17.8

17.6 at the Pacwest Futurity but  a little tight on the 2nd barrel brought it down. Overall a fantastic effort by this awesome filly!

With only a couple runs under her belt she took on the tough competition with ease.  Cruising to a 2nd place amateur win in the 1st go.

Back home she continued her winning ways with a 6th place 1D finish in  St George, Ut  against San Cat Hickory, the 1st place winner of Sundays open and 1D average winner in the Greg Olsen Memorial open.  WOW!!!   She is getting better and more confident with each run.

Finishing 2nd in the St george race behind San Cat and the only other horse of the event to run 16.8 in the big outdoor arena was her hauling partner DOC ON THE MONEY ( our horses page)
